The 43-460 includes 5HP, 3 Phase, tri-voltage (200-230/460V) motor with LVC switch, motor pulley, poly-v belt drive, two 10" cast-iron extension wings, micro-adjust fence and guard assembly, 1-1/4" spindle, table inserts, starting pin, two-speed spindle pulley, wrenches.
• The spindle, housing, motor, raising and lowering mechanism are a single self-contained unit, securely assembled to the underside of the table for absolute 90° spindle-to-table alignment.
• The rugged drive spindle assembly and permanently lubricated ball bearings are preloaded to prevent distortion at high speeds which assures accurate, chatter-free shaping.
• Massive 30" X 27" table (with standard cast-iron extension wings) provides extra support for shaping large work. Also, a precision ground face and ribbed under-table-construction prevents warping.
• Precision milled 3/8" X 3/4" T-slot, miter slot accommodate miter gage, sliding miter jig and other accessories for holding workpiece.
• Conveniently-grouped controls are at the front of the machine within easy reach of the operator from his normal working position.
• Deep-tapered spindle design allows for easy changing of accessory spindles from 1/2" to 1-1/4" to permit use of a wide variety of shaper cutters. Table opening size can be varied, as needed, by removing special table insert rings.
