Dry core bits are used with right-angle grinders, heavy duty drills with appropriate adapters, and hand held core drill units. Dry core bits drill faster than conventional carbide tipped percussion bits, for a smoother finish and little to no patching. Lackmond's dry diamond bits have a 10" overall standard length barrel and are vented for heat relief- they are also have a 5/8-11" thread.
